As many of you probably know by now, the Fresno Police Department shut us down tonight. REST ASSURED THAT THIS DOES NOT MEAN WE’RE DONE! We’re meeting with someone from ABC and the FPD on MONDAY AT NOON at the venue and everyone is invited! We highly encourage everyone to come, and we plan to hold an OPEN MEETING afterward to discuss where we can go from here. Our IndieGoGo campaign should be up tomorrow or Sunday and we’ll be taking donations of any kind in person or via PayPal at thebeltower@gmail.com. We’ll need thousands of dollars, and we’ll need it fast. Everything helps. Spread the word, collect cans and bottles, sell baked goods, throw benefit shows… We’re going to figure this out. BT4EVR.

Even if you’re not from my city (Fresno, CA), it’d be nice to see some support from strangers. They gave a band (my band) without a scene a place to play and they should be able to continue to do it for other bands for years to come. It’s the best little D.I.Y. venue around right now and I love it  very much. Help out however you can!

On February 21st Wild Nothing will release their first new recordings since 2010’s amazing ‘Gemini’ int he form of a new 7” single! The record’s a-side “Nowhere”, featuring vocals from the very lovely Andrea Estella of Twin Sister, does indeed tread a similar path as Jack Tatum and Co.’s previous recordings, but why shouldn’t it? It’s beautiful, it’s now, it’s making me smile, and frankly that’s all that really matters. Stream the song over on Soundcloud!
